A derelict factory, proud but lost to memory, becomes a skeleton of its parts, corroded by time and invaded by incroaching nature, vandalising youth and the salty winds of the Thames estuary.
FACTORY
This study earned me my first accrediation, a City & Guilds qualification awarded with distinction in 2008. Back then I not only had to frame and light each image but print in a darkroom. Each high gloss image I mounted onto stainless steel plate, perfectly flat and itself highly mirrored, then hung as a series across the exhibition space. In a way, these were the last products of the factory's own production line.
